Dear Colleagues,

The international symposium XXX Physics in Collision (PIC2010) will be held on September 1 - 4,
2010 at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany.

Physics in Collisions looks back to thirty years of tradition presenting invited review talks on recent
experimental results in elementary particle physics and astroparticle physics with the aim of
encouraging informal discussions on these results and their implications. The topics include:
electroweak phenomena and QCD, neutrino physics, heavy flavor physics, searches for Higgs
bosons and phenomena beyond the standard model, and astroparticle physics.

We will also host two poster sessions with short presentations. All abstracts for posters having
potential interest to the high-energy physics community are welcome. This includes topics such as
current experimental measurements, detectors, future experiments and facilities, theoretical ideas,
etc. Up to twelve of the posters will be selected for brief presentation in a plenary session.

During the symposium, there will be two cultural highlights: the reception in the Karlsruhe castle
which also houses the main museum of the state of Baden, and the concert in the cloister of
Maulbronn which is a world cultural heritage monument.

The conference is now open for registration and submission of abstracts for posters. We
encourage those who are planning to attend to register as soon as possible. The deadline for early
registration at a reduced fee is 30 June and for accommodation reservation is 31 July. The poster abstract
and application should be sent by Email to info∂PIC2010.kit.edu. The deadline is also 31 July.
