If you plan to use Deutsche Bahn to get to Karlsruhe you may want to consider the Happy Rail Ticket. All hotels are within walking distance of the conference or can be reached by public transport. No rental cars are needed.

A cheap alternative is the Youth Hostel Karlsruhe. It is located close just on the other side of the Castle's Park, close to campus.
